The good news for Deccan is that their bowling is the one area that's looking up to standard. RP Singh has come back admirably after starting the tournament poorly and Harmeet Singh is looking impressive. Ryan Harris and Dwayne Smith are the two internationals who should keep their places in the bowling line up and Pragyan Ojha and Andrew Symonds add the strangle element to the Chargers attack.
The two sides who tussled over last year's final have not yet met in the tournament despite it being 40 games old. That means Deccan have the opportunity for a fresh start in this clash. They have bragging rights after their epic display in Johannesburg and may even want to call on the man who inspired them to that win - Herschelle Gibbs.
Although the Chargers have complained more than once that the lack of a home venue has been a problem for them because they don't seem to have any home ground support, they need to remember that that day in Johannesburg, they couldn't have been further from Hyderabad, and they still did it.
