Preview: Deccan are underdogs in rematch of last year's final

Mumbai Indians outplay Deccan Chargers
In Picture: Rohit Sharma's return to form in the last game is a hopeful sign for Deccan

As Adam Gilchrist walks out to toss with Anil Kumble, there will be one reality preying on his mind. The reality that if the Deccan Chargers stumble again, their semi final hopes will shrink to about the size of their recent middle order contributions.

In the epic collapse against the Rajasthan Royals, the last seven Chargers batsmen did not even get into double figures. Deccan looked as though they were cruising to victory in chase of a modest 160 but they found themselves tangled in a web of Shane Warne wizardry.

The one positive they can take out of that chase is that Rohit Sharma showed impeccable form in his knock of 73 and also batted with responsibility and maturity. It's that type of attitude that Gilchrist needs if he hopes to progress further in the tournament.
