Pakistan and New Zealand find themselves in a similar situation, having lost their first game of the Super 8s. A loss here would almost certainly spell doom for either team. But it would be fair to say that the defending champions haven't lived up to their reputation. A loss to Zimbabwe in the warm-up game followed by easy defeats to Australia and England must have surely dented their confidence.
