If Baroda had been one of the cities to get a new franchise, there was every chance that the Pathan brothers would have played for that team. Their all round talents, aggression, big match temperament and match-winning ability in the same team would have been a joy to watch.

Alas, Pune and Kochi were the recipients of the new franchises and the Pathan brothers will probably appear in future editions of the IPL for different teams - as they will do today when the Rajasthan Royals take on the Kings XI Punjab.
