Wayne Rooney believes Manchester United's next four games, which would be played at Old Trafford, could play an important role in their quest to complete a treble of silverware.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side have four games in a row at Old Trafford as they set their sights on emulating the club's heroes of 1999 by capturing the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup, the Daily Mirror reports.
United host Norwich on Saturday, Real Madrid in the decisive leg of their Champions League last-16 clash on Tuesday, Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter-finals the following Sunday, followed by Reading in the Premier League on March 16.
Rooney reckons playing the quartet of crucial matches at home will give United a huge advantage as they try to write another remarkable chapter in the club's glittering history.
The striker said it's always nice to play at home, so to have a few games there back-to-back is good, adding having that home advantage is a great help to us, and that's a real difference.
Rooney added when they play away, they finish the game and then are either flying back or getting the train or coach, adding with home matches, they finish the game and he can be back at my house within 40 minutes or something like that, therefore, that is one big help as well. (ANI)
