Pakistan and spot-fixing
Pakistan cricketers have always been known more for their notoriety than their game.
And keeping up with that reputation, Salman Butt, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif were accused of spot-fixing during Pakistan's tour of England.
During a sting operation by News Of The World, bookie Mazhar Majeed claimed to have enough contacts to spot-fix during England-Pakistan matches and later the cricketers were suspended by the ICC and the matter is under investigation.
And topping it off for Pakistan, wicket-keeper Zulqarnain Haider, while playing against South Africa in the UAE, vanished from the team hotel before a match, leaving the team officials red-faced.
Later he landed in London, saying bookies had issued death threats to him and his family.
