Former England captain Nasser Hussain's controversial comparison of Indian fielders to 'donkeys' during India's tour to England drew flak from former cricketers.
"I would say the difference between the two side is the fielding. England are all-round good fielding side. I do believe that India have few...3 or 4 very good fielders and one or two donkeys in the field still," Hussain had said.
And his sarcastic views were even adored by one of his former colleagues Michael Vaughan. "Just seen that Nasser said the Indians have a couple of donkeys in the field. How wrong can he be! I have seen at least 4. I was useless in the field. But I would be a superstar at cover point in this Indian team," tweeted Vaughan.
India's former cricketer Ravi Shastri reacted angrily and suggested that the BCCI should lodge a complaint against it.
