Yuvraj Singh, the Player of the Series of the 2011 World Cup, was fighting initially with deadly lung “cancer” and now tumour. And after his heroic performance at the premier championship, he has been in and out of the Indian squad and managed to play only three Tests with limited success which is understandable due to mental and physical stresses all along.
In this context it is indeed in the fitness of thing that Yuvraj, whose likely next international assignment will be early next year, take a leaf out of following great players in international sports who fought back against all odds and emerged with flying colors on their comebacks:
