Statistics: Leander Paes catches up with Bhupathi

Leander Paes equaled the coveted record for the most Grand Slam championship titles by an Indian player when he pocketed Mixed Doubles titles at the Australian Open. Paes has so far bagged six men's doubles and five mixed doubles titles.

He is now on par with his one-time doubles partner Mahesh Bhupathi who has won 11 major titles comprising four men's doubles and seven mixed doubles.
