The parents of Oscar Pistorius' slain girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp have said that they want the Paralympic star to come clean about what the actual happenings were on the night their daughter was shot at the Pretoria home of Pistorius.

In the first televised interview since their daughter's death, Barry and June Steenkamp have said that they yearned for the truth about what happened before their daughter was shot dead in the bathroom of Pistorius' home on Valentine's Day, ABC News reports.

Barry Steenkamp said that what actually happened was known only to Pistorius and his daughter, so he urged Pistorius to come forward with the truth. (ANI)
