Anil Kumble: 7/48 in second Test, Chennai, 2004

Australia had won the first Test in Bangalore comfortably and was on a quest for the final frontier.

Australia began the second Test confidently going into lunch at 111/0 with Matthew Hayden and Justin Langer in the middle. India got back into the game with three wickets in the second session and Australia was sitting at 189/3 at tea.

But what followed after tea was simply the artistic work of Anil Kumble. The visitors succumbed to the pressure exerted by Kumble and Harbhajan Singh from both the ends and fell prey to Jumbo's mysterious spell.

Kumble captured 7/48 runs as Australia collapsed from 136/0 to 235 all out. Rain on the final day spoiled India's chances of squaring the series.
