Tests 2008 – A highlights package

There have been 40 Tests in 2008 till date.

Notably, Pakistan have not figured in a single Test in the year.

Next-door neighbours India, though, have had a busy year featuring in 13 Tests with another two against England still in the offing.

In an eventful season, Team India were at the receiving end of the year’s worst drubbing, by an innings and 239 runs against Sri Lanka at the SSC grounds in Colombo from 23-26 July.

About two months later, under new skipper Dhoni, they underlined their resurgence by inflicting the year’s biggest thrashing in term of runs - 320 - on Australia in the second Test of a four-Test series that India won 2-0.
