The biggest headache centres around the middle order. While Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman pick themselves, it is the No 6 slot plus the extra batsman that must have been the subject of much discussion simply because there are so many serious contenders.
The final choice of Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Singh meant that the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Cheteswar Pujara and S Badrinath missed out.
But they need not be disheartened for there is always a chance for them to stake their claims all over again in case of injury or lack of form or when the 'Big Three' ride off into the sunset.
