Tiger Wood's former wife Elin Nordegren went barely noticed at restaurants in Miami over the weekend, and had to have pals drop a do-you-know-who-I-am to get her into a nightclub where she was quickly given the boot.
Nordegren's weekend in obscurity started with the ex-model having dinner with two of her siblings and Swedish hockey player Douglas Murray at Mr. Chow in Miami Friday, the New York Daily News reported.
In late July, Murray attempted to hush rumors that he and Nordegren were a pair by telling the Swedish tabloid Expressen, "We are not dating and we have never dated." But at Mr. Chow, there were few prying eyes or wagging tongues.
A Confidenti@l source said, "Nobody recognizes her - she was only a celebrity because she married Tiger Woods."
After dinner, Nordegren led a small group to Hyde nightclub where they were initially refused entry.
"Someone in the entourage said, 'This is Elin, Tiger Woods' wife,' so only after they dropped the name, they let her in," a source said.
According to the source, Nordegren and her gang found their way to a poolside cabana, but were soon after asked to leave because it was 2 am and the venue was about to close.
On Saturday night, our spies spotted Nordegren out on the town again, this time dining at Casa Tua with a group of pals including Nicole Kuehne, who used to be married to professional golfer and Woods' contemporary Hank Kuehne.
"Nobody recognized them," the source added. (ANI)
