Famous English comedian and TV host Alan Carr will be removing his famous drinks globe from the set before interviewing booze-battling football idol Paul Gascoigne.

Stating that soft drinks will be offered as an alternative, the source said that Carr had many guests in the past who did not drink alcohol following which soft drinks and water were made available to them.

According to the report, incidentally Carr's father Graham Carr is currently the head scout at Newcastle United where Gascoigne used to play.

The report further said that Carr always offers his guests a glass of booze from his drinks globe, and he and many celebs have got tipsy downing the weird tipples.

The troubled Gascoigne is undergoing therapy to stay sober after years of booze addiction, which intensified to such an extent that he almost died in February during detox on a 6,000 pounds-a-week rehab programme in the US, the report added. (ANI)
