Adrian Sutil has been handed a surprise route back into Formula One only 12 months since being found guilty of grievous bodily harm (GBH), as the German racer was handed a seat alongside British ace Paul Di Resta at the Force India team.
Sutil will take part in a testing session for the Silverstone-based outfit on Thursday in Barcelona, the Sun reports.
It is an astonishing comeback after the same team axed Sutil for last season following an incident at a Shanghai nightclub in April 2011, the paper said.
Sutil was given an 18-month suspended sentence and fined 170,000 pounds after being found guilty of assaulting Eric Lux, an executive with the then-Renault team, with a broken Champagne glass, the paper added. (ANI)
