Dhaka: Bangladesh seamer Nazmul Hossain has been ruled out of the home Tri-series against India and Sri Lanka this month due to a thigh injury, the Bangladesh Cricket Board said on Saturday.
"Nazmul has suffered a right quadriceps muscle injury during practice today and is likely to be out of action for two weeks," the BCB said in statement.
Pace bowler Shahadat Hossain has been recalled to replace him in the squad.
Bangladesh face Sri Lanka in the opening match of the tournament on Jan. 4.
