New Delhi: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president N Srinivasan has said that sporting wickets and not rank turners would be prepared for Tests at home.
"Our aim is to give fair wickets and not one-sided ones," Srinivasan said.
The interview was conducted before India's opening batsman Gautam Gambhir accused Australia of doctoring pitches to suit the fast bowlers and said India should prepare turners to ensure a level playing field.
Srinivasan was confident that the team would bounce back in next month's ODI tri-series in Australia also involving Sri Lanka.
"The team is there, they are in the midst of a series and it is a hope that they will bounce back. I mean, they had their moments; it is not like they didn't have their chances. We have the ODI series with them. I have every faith that the team will bounce back," he said.
