New Zealand cricketers Shane Bond and Ross Taylor would take a late call on their participation in the Indian Premier League even as their players' body is still cagey about the security plans put in place by IPL authorities.

Bond, who is set to earn USD one million from his IPL contract with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), agreed that the players are concerned over their security but it was too early to take a decision on his participation in the cash-awash Twenty20 league.

"You have to listen to what everybody says. So because it is still a month, things can change. I'll only make a decision closer to the time that I'm due to go," Bond was quoted as saying by 'New Zealand Herald'.

According to the newspaper, Bangalore Royal Challengers player Taylor also would leave his decision to travel to India for the IPL as late as possible before deciding whether to travel to India after home series against Australia.

The other Black Caps signed up with IPL franchises are Daniel Vettori, Brendon McCullum and Jacob Oram.
