Retired wicketkeeper Mark Boucher is set to be given an honorific farewell by Cricket South Africa (CSA) and the South African team, who will dedicate the third day of the second Sunfoil Series Test match against Pakistan to Boucher.

The tribute, which is a joint initiative by CSA, one of its sponsor Castle Lager and Boucher's teammates, will include a presentation by Test captain Graeme Smith during the tea interval of the match, Sport24 reports.

According to the paper, the tribute will serve as an opportunity for Boucher to highlight his latest project and passion, the SAB Boucher Conservation Non-Profit Company with the South African Breweries (SAB) for the conservation of 18,000 South African rhinos, based on a national Rhino DNA database.

Patrons of the project include personalities Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Ian Player, Mavuso Msimang and Ali Bacher.

Boucher's career came to an end during the Proteas tour of England last year when he suffered a bad eye injury during the opening tour match against Somerset at Taunton. (ANI)
