West Indies hit at least a boundary in 19 of the 20 overs in the first T20I at Florida. They did the same in the World T20 semi-final against India.
Never before in the history of T20Is have both openers managed 75+ in the same innings. This was the third time that both Windies openers scored a fifty in the same T20I.
Johnson Charles' 20-ball fifty is the second-fastest half-centruy for a West Indian. The fastest is Chris Gayle's 17-ball fifty against South Africa last year. It was also the fastest T20I fifty against India, beating Kumar Sangakkara's 21-ball effort.
