Dalai Lama joins Preity Zinta at IPL venue in Dharamsala

The Indian Premier League match between the Kings XI Punjab and Deccan Chargers being played here, had a special guest in the form of Tibetan spiritual leader - the Dalai Lama-on Saturday.

The Dalai Lama entered the stadium in the company of Kings XI Punjab owner and popular Bolywood actress Preity Zinta and emerging Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Anurag Thakur.

The Tibetan leader, dressed in his usual maroon and yellow robes, gave scarves and his blessings to the players of both teams ahead of the match. (ANI)
