LONDON: Manchester United are still not sure whether centre-back Rio Ferdinand will be able to play again this season, manager Alex Ferguson said on Thursday.
"My concern is getting Rio back for some part of this season and hopefully we can do that," Ferguson told a news conference.
England captain Ferdinand suffered a calf injury in the warm-up before United's 2-1 league defeat by Wolverhampton Wanderers on Feb. 5.

United are clinging on to a three-point lead over Arsenal at the top of the Premier League, having played a game more.
They are also through to the Champions League quarter-finals and FA Cup semi-finals but have been hit hard by injuries of late.
Ferguson also said Nemanja Vidic, Ferdinand's regular centre-back partner, would miss Saturday's game at home to Bolton Wanderers.
