Wimbledon: Tommy Haas has overcome 11th-seeded Marin Cilic after a five-set match played over two days to reach the fourth round at Wimbledon.

The 24th-seeded Haas and Cilic returned to Court 1 Saturday tied at 6-6 in the decider after the match was suspended because of darkness late Friday, and the German finally completed a 7-5, 7-5, 1-6, 6-7 (3), 10-8 win.

Both players had wasted two match points each on Friday, and Haas secured a decisive break in the 17th game before holding serve for the win.

Haas, who lost a five-setter at the French Open against Roger Federer, earned the final match point after a 15-stroke rally when Cilic netted.

He won after 4 hours, 28 minutes, when the Croat put a backhand long.
