I am due for a big score

We had a disastrous start to our campaign being completely outplayed by the Lahore Badshahs in our opening encounter in Panchkula. Nothing went right for us on that day but things have started to fall in place now.

We moved to Hyderabad after that match and with the change of venue, our fortune also changed. We have quite a few players from the state and the public support during our first match here against Chennai Superstars was overwhelming.

The Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium is in the heart of the city and number of people calling the local players for passes and tickets show that the concept is catching up and with more and more venues added in the future would only give it a further boost.

We play our second match here against Kolkata Tigers on Wednesday, and though they are a formidable opponent, the huge public support gives us an added advantage. Also the win against Superstars has helped us regroup and the momentum gathered from that win will put us in the driver's seat.

Having said that, one cannot forget that the likes of Abhishek Jhunjhunwala, Craig McMillan and others are in great touch and the all-rounders in their team add to the depth of their batting line-up.

I haven't scored a lot of runs in the tournament so far but I was happy with the way I played during the small stay at the crease and I am due for a big score pretty soon.
