The MSK Prasad-led panel is likely to retain the same squad which played in the one-off Test against Bangladesh. However, Mohammed Shami who has been missing in action could return against the Aussies if he's fully fit.

Also in focus is Amit Mishra who missed the Bangladesh Test due to knee injury.

Meanwhile, the Aussies arrived on Monday evening led by skipper Steve Smith. They will play a three-day warm-up match against India 'A' from February 16 at the Brabourne Stadium in Cricket Club of India in Mumbai.

The first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Series starts at Pune's Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on February 23 to be followed by the next three more at Bengaluru (March 4-8), Ranchi (March 16-20) and Dharamshala (March 25-29).
