India takes revenge at Motera, beats Pakistan by 11 runs to level T20 series

India beat Pakistan by 11 runs in the second Twenty20 played at the Sardar Patel Gujarat Stadium in Motera on Friday to level the series 1-1.

In reply to India's 192-5, Pakistan could only muster 181/7 in its stipulated 20 overs.

Pak captain Mohammad Hafeez top scored for the touring team with a blistering knock of 55 of 26 balls, smacking three sixes and six fours.

Among the Indian bowlers, fast bowler Ashok Dinda picked up three wickets for 36 runs with four other bowlers chipping in with a wicket each.

Earlier, India had set a stiff 193-run target for Pakistan after winning the toss and electing to bat in the second and final Twenty20 match.

India's score was made possible by a swashbuckling knock of 72 in 36 balls from Yuvraj Singh and a typical 33 by skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. (ANI)
