God may be in the details of motor sports, but there's definitely a tone of piety when it comes to the Indian GP.
This year, the MD and CEO of Jaypee Sports International Limited that has brought F1 to India, ushered in the return of the GP to Buddh with a pooja.
Bang in the middle of the paddock, a space was made for this prayer meet.
Gaur was the first to tweet a picture of this auspicious occasion. Tweeple from the motor sports fraternity soon reacted positively. And Vicky Chandhok in particular, said exactly what Gaur wanted to hear: @vickychandhok 'Hari Om sir ! It will all go well Sameer !'
Later, fans on Facebook joined in and made fervent prayers that Vettel not win the 2012 Indian GP, just so that the championship battle stays exciting. There was even a promise of 100 coconuts, if things pan out as above!
