Injured Gambhir doubtful for Windies ODI tour

New Delhi: Indian opener Gautam Gambhir has injured his right shoulder, but is likely to play the crucial Indian Premier League game between the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Mumbai Indians to be played at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium today.

However, he is doubtful for the Indian cricket team's one-day tour of the West Indies next month.

An MRI scan on Tuesday has put a question mark on his availability.

Gambhir was injured during the last league match at the Eden Gardens.

He may require surgery, rehabilitation or rest, it is being learnt.

It is expected that Suresh Raina will lead India in the West Indies during the one-day tour.
