Injury forces Clarke out of Sri Lanka clash

Adelaide: Skipper Michael Clarke will miss Australia's next limited-overs international against Sri Lanka after injuring his right hamstring in the four-wicket loss to India on the weekend.

Scans on Monday confirmed a low grade strain. Australia team physiotherapist Alex Kountouris said Clarke wouldn't recover in time for Friday's tri-series match against the Sri Lankans and no decision had been made about his availability for a match against India at Brisbane on Sunday.

Australia will announce its squad for the next three ODIs on Tuesday. The Australians lead the tri-series with two wins and a loss to date.
