Ireland oust Bangladesh, win by 6 wickets

Ireland beat Bangladesh by six wickets on Monday to advance to the Super 8 stage of the Twenty20 World Cup and knock its opponent out of the tournament.

Niall O'Brien hit 40 and his brother Kevin O'Brien made 39 not out as Ireland overhauled Bangladesh's modest total of 137-8 with 10 balls to spare at Trent Bridge.
