It's celebration time in India. And we look forward to celebrate the festival of colours by playing some colourful cricket over the weekend. It's going to be a very tough weekend for the Delhi Giants as we are up against the Lahore Badshahs on Sunday and then on Monday, we face the Hyderabad Heroes.

While the Lahore Badshahs have emerged as the team to beat, the Hyderabad Heroes, despite being slightly inconsistent, are second in the points tally as we speak. So the Delhi Giants are in for a tough time over the next two days. But, we all are geared up to win at least one of the two matches. With three matches remaining, we find ourselves in a position where we have to win at least two more matches if we have to make it to the semi-finals. And it would be great to win at least one of the two back-to-back matches.

Lahore will be extremely difficult to beat. They are almost an international side. They are the most balanced outfit in the tournament so far. And the fact that their wealth of experience and all the players knowing each other for a long time, has also helped them immensely. And if most of the players know each other's strengths and weaknesses, it's certainly makes a difference.

They are the team to beat in this tournament, but it doesn't mean they are unbeatable. If you see in all their four matches so far, they haven't been put under the pressure. They are a team which plays aggressive cricket. So if we can pick up some wickets early on and reduce them to 40 or 50 for four, things would be interesting. I also think that they haven't really chased a big target so far. So I guess, it would also be interesting to see how they will fare if they are chasing 160-odd. As we all know, the balance of a Twenty20 match could tilt in a span of couple of overs.

On the personal front, I guess in three of the four matches I bowled pretty well. Obviously, I had an off day against the Chennai Superstars in our last match. But apart from that game, I guess the rhythm has been good in all the other three games. But I would have loved to pick up more than one wicket, which is to my name in the tournament so far. But if you see in all the matches, I have been able to restrict the scoring rate. If things change against the Lahore Badshahs on Sunday, it would be wonderful for our team.
