Kevin Pietersen appears to have completed his reintegration into the England side after every member of the squad autographed his shirt including himself.
According to the Telegraph, the act of team-unity, with just a small dash of Pietersen's trademark and welcomely familiar narcissism, did not go unnoticed by Prior, who tweeted the following, in a series of celebratory messages with the accompanying hashtag of #lovewinning:
Earlier on in the day Jonathan Trott and Ian Bell had guided England to the fourth Test draw that confirmed a 2-1 series win, England's first in India for nearly three decades.
Amid the scenes of jubilation, it is almost difficult to remember that prior to the tour their was genuine debate over whether or not Pietersen should be in the team following his falling out with the dressing room and censure for inappropriate text messages sent to members of the South African squad, the paper added.
But judging by Prior's tweets and the breezy use of the language of management all at the ECB used when handling the tricky business of restoring the gifted batsmen to the team without appearing to be weak, Pietersen is now back among the banter, it said.
Reintegration was the name of the game, then. And one England, and Pietersen, appear to have won, the paper concluded. (ANI)
