Indian tennis ace Leander Paes has been named in the Indian squad for next month's Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Group I tie against China to be played in Tianjin.
The squad for the event was named following the All India Tennis Federation (AITA) selectors meeting held earlier today.
Paes was dropped from the tie against Uzbekistan last April. The 44-year-old was also not considered for the World Group Play-off against Canada.
The former doubles World No. 1 player, who has a victorious record in the Davis Cup, will look to surpass Nicola Pietrangeli's 42 record wins with a win over the Chinese team.
The Davis Cup squad is as follows:
Yuki Bhambri, Ramkumar Ramanathan, Sumit Nagal, Rohan Bopanna, Leander Paes, Divij Sharan (Reserve)
