Leander Paes wins 14th Grand Slam doubles title

Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek romped to a straight sets victory in the final of the US Open at Flushing Meadows in New York.

The Indo-Czech duo thrashed Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares in a one-sided title clash 6-1 6-3.

It was the 14th Grand Slam doubles title in Leander's glittering career.

Eight have come in the men's doubles and six in the mixed doubles.

Leander won his 3rd men's doubles title at the US Open, having previously triumphed in 2006 with Martin Damm and 2009 with Lukas Dlouhy.
