Gan's tests are negative and he is stable, hospital superintendent SV Prasad told IANS.

Earlier, Badminton World Federation (BWF) Chief Operating Officer Thomas Lund said Gan had no fever in the last 36 hours.

"It is a good indication. His condition is stable."

The coach had complained of sore throat and fever on Monday evening. His sickness had led to a scare at the world championship.

"We would also like to make it clear that no player or official has complained of flu symptoms," Lund said.
