Manchester City officials were last night in Italy trying to thrash out a deal for Udinese's 30 million-pound rated winger Alexis Sanchez.
Eastlands boss Roberto Mancini has made the Chilean flier his top target but faces stiff competition from Manchester United, Barcelona and Inter Milan, the Sun reports.
City opened talks with the Serie A club over the weekend and hope to pay around 25 million pounds for Sanchez, 22.
Udinese owner Gianpaolo Pozzo said of Sanchez: "I think it is 50-50 he will stay here. But if he does go, I would say that the highest percentage is to City, because English football is the richest. (ANI)
