IPL can recover if stringent action is taken against the concerned people who indulge in fraudulent activities. For this, every one in the top positions shall be honest. Nowadays, such competitions are held only for making money and for nothing else. Smugglers and cheats, occupying very high positions,in Management level would show only utter disregard for fair play and clean performance since their only intention is how to make money. We have a very weak democratic set up with whicvh we are not even in a position to catch hold of a criminal residing in very small countries like Dubai, Saudi Arabia , Srilanka or Pakistan. As such, I do not think that the IPL can recover from scandals. But, the cricket lovers, hereafter, may gradually begin to show disinterest in IPL. V.Ramanathan
