Its Indian bowlers, I have seen srinath, prasad,Zaheer,Nehra, and in particular RP Sing will bowl 2-3 hit me bowls in any crunch match and this way lose the initiative to the opposite team. Then they ball 2 good balls in an over by the time the damage is already done. Either you need speed or you have to bowl line and length. This is what make our batters chasing 270+ in almost every match. Another thing, what you can expect from an Abhishek Nayyar or a Kartik who had never scored a 100+ or 3 scores of 50+ though he is a regular traveller with the team.what is the point of investing time and opportunities wit guys like Dinesh kartik? Munaf, Sreesanth will do better than an RP on a crunch match. It is a matter of "Indian " mentality. You know our own Sachin Tendulakar still hesitant to take the first strike in a match and he for sure will allow the his partner to take the first strike even after 450 DDIs and 40+ hundreds?..Guess whY ?..He is too an Indian ,want to see what happends !

IPL is to be blamed for poor performance, because performance in IPL is sole creteria for selection in team india.but if we see in practical terms in IPL every team only have 5-6(approx half team) international players rest are novice.it means every batsmen has to face only 10-15 balls and that may be from international player or novice.in the same way every bowler can bowl only 4 overs and that to for exp player or novice.so,there is no proper experience for our new players, they have no stamina and patience that may last for 50 overs match or test match. so,in my opinion IPL is the biggest culprit
