Mohsin Hassan Khan has gone back on his decision to quit as the chief selector of the Pakistan cricket team after meeting the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ijaz Butt.
Khan had earlier threatened to quit following differences over the selection of Pakistan's Test squad for West Indies series.
According to The Dawn, Khan was at loggerheads with other selectors, Asif Baloch, Mohammad Ilyas, Azhar Khan and Farrukh Zaman .
"I have asked the Pakistan Cricket Board to let me know whether they are making changes or not. I will resign if they are not replaced ," Khan had told them.
The PCB statement specified that the national selection commitee and tour selection committee are two independant bodies and none of them can encroach upon each other's functioning.(ANI)
