Anti Doping Organisation of Pakistan (ADOP) chairman Dr Meesaq Rizvi has said the dope test results of three top Pakistan wrestlers have come out negative.
"They have not been tested positive and their reports have been sent to the Pakistan Wrestling Federation (PWF) and Pakistan Olympic Association (POA)," the Daily Times quoted Dr Meesaq Rizvi, as saying.
The dope tests of winner of Rustam-e-Pakistan dangal Usman Majeed, another dangal participant Majeed Pehalwan and former national champion Mohammad Bashir Bhola Bhala were conducted after the final of the dangal held in Karachi last month.
Rizvi said the urine samples of the wrestlers were taken at the Shapes Club and sent to the World Anti Doping Agency's accredited laboratory in Almaty in Kazakhstan.
"The urine samples were not taken immediately after the final of the dangal but the wrestlers were called afterwards to undergo doping under the supervision of a recognised technical expert," Rizvi said.
He added that though Bashir Bhola Bhala did not take part in the dangal, he was also asked by the PWF to undergo doping. (ANI)
