Rain stops Malaysian Grand Prix

SEPANG, Malaysia: Heavy rain halted the Malaysian Formula One Grand Prix after 32 of the 56 scheduled laps on Sunday with Brawn GP's British driver Jenson Button leading behind the safety car.

Toyota's Timo Glock was in second place with fellow German Nick Heidfeld third for BMW-Sauber.

It was not known immediately whether the race, already due to finish in the twilight, would restart.
