New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals is banking on their overseas back-up to fill up the slots left vacant because of injuries to key players Graeme Smith and Dmitri Mascarenhas.

Smith fractured his finger while taking a catch during Royals' match against Delhi Daredevils in Ahmedabad. Mascarenhas injured his ankle in the same game. Both players have been ruled out for the rest of Indian Premier League.

Hampshire's Michael Lumb and Australian pair of Damien Martyn and Adam Voges are likely to fill their places in the match against Bangalore Royal Challengers Thursday.

Royals, who are still to open their account after two matches, are also looking for reinforcements in some of their foreign players who are yet to arrive.

"We are yet to decide about seeking replacement. We have enough back-up in the squad," said Sean Morris, the chief executive of Rajasthan Royals.

The team is also hoping that star Australian all-rounder Shane Watson, who is expected to arrive by April 2, and South African off-spinner Johan Botha will join them in time to boost their campaign.
