Triple Olympic gold medal winner Stephanie Rice has confessed that her injured right shoulder is bothering her so much, that if it wasn't an Olympic year, she would have pulled herself out of the water for at least an year
Rice is struggling to recover from her injury on the right shoulder before next month's selection trials.
She termed this phase, as the most frustrating one of her life but expected emerge stronger from her current ailment.
"If this wasn't an Olympic year I would have pulled out of the year. It has been the most frustrating journey. Everything I am doing right now, is hopefully making my character stronger," The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Rice, as saying.
Rice said she would do anything to participate and perform well in the Olympics and described this year as the most exciting of her life. (ANI)
