The Indian selectors have made just one change in the squad for the third Test against England in Kolkata.
The injured Umesh Yadav has been replaced by Ashok Dinda.
The selectors have reposed faith in struggling maestro Sachin Tendulkar, who has had a miserable run in Tests lately. Sachin has not reached 50 in his last ten innings, scoring just 153 runs at an average of 15.3. He has not scored a century in his last 28 innings.
Few changes were expected after skipper MS Dhoni's comments in Mumbai yesterday following India's shocking loss to England by 10 wickets. "We have replacements but you don't chop and change or rotate the players just on the basis of one or two Test matches. You have to give them a fair run. That's what it's all about," Dhoni said.
"Otherwise we will keep changing players in every game. So it's good to give the players a fair amount of games so that they are also comfortable and are not thinking about the selection," he added.
The third Test will be held in Kolkata from December 5 to 9. The squad for the fourth Test in Nagpur between December 13 and 17 will be announced later.
