Manchester City midfielder David Silva has claimed the players in the dressing room are angry with themselves after their loss to Sunderland midweek which increased their gulf from table toppers Manchester United by seven points.
The Spaniard has demanded that City pull themselves back level by the end of February and then set about winning the Premier League again, the Sun reports.
The defending champions face a tricky date at Norwich on Saturday fully aware they are on the ropes and in danger of imploding still father, but midfield genius Silva insists they must get over the pain and heartache of the 1-0 loss at the Stadium of Light on Boxing Day.
Silva said the loss to Sunderland was a hard blow for them and nobody believed that they would lose.
The Spain international added that as a team they have a huge desire to repeat their title success, but they are aware that the Premier League is very open.
Silva said they could still defend their Premier League title despite being seven points behind local rivals, Manchester. (ANI)
