# Ponting has become the fourth batsman to register 60 or more fifties in Tests, joining Sachin Tendulkar (64), Allan Border (63) and Rahul Dravid (63).
# Ponting's aggregate of 1338 in 15 Tests at MCG at an average of 58.17 is now the second highest at this venue, next only to Sir Donald Bradman - 1671 (ave. 128.53) in 11 Tests, including nine hundreds and three fifties.
