Port of Spain: Statistical highlights of the ODI tri-series match between India and Sri Lanka on Tuesday:

# Bhuvneshwar Kumar has got his second Man of the Match award in ODIs. He had first received the award against Pakistan for capturing two wickets for 19 runs at Birmingham on June 15, 2013.

# Kumar (4/8) has registered a career-best bowling performance in ODIs, outstripping the 3 for 29 vs England at Kochi on January 15, 2013.

# Kumar's superb performance is the best by an Indian bowler in the West Indies in ODIs, bettering Amit Mishra's four for 31 vs West Indies at Port of Spain on June 8, 2011.



# With eight wickets at an average of 9. 12 in three matches, Kumar is the leading wicket-taker in the present tri-series.

# Rohit Sharma (48 not out off 83 balls) has top-scored in the match. His record in the Caribbean is excellent - his tally being 431 (ave. 53.87), including four fifties, in 13 matches.

# India have won four consecutive ODIs at Port of Spain for the first time - between June 6, 2011 and July 9, 2013 - three vs West Indies and one vs Sri Lanka.

# India's well-deserved 81-run win is their first in three matches against Sri Lanka in the West Indies in ODIs. India had lost the first two games to them - one each at Port of Spain (by 69 runs on March 23, 2007) and Kingston (by 161 runs on July 2, 2013).

# All three teams - India, Sri Lanka and West Indies - have won two and lost two each in the present tournament so far. India, with better net run-rate, have qualified in the finals.

# Overall, India have won seven and lost nine out of 16 contested at Port of Spain in ODIs.

# Sri Lanka (96) have emulated their lowest total against India in ODIs. At Sharjah on April 8, 1984, they had made 96 off 41.0 overs.

# Ravindra Jadeja (2/17) has taken his wicket-aggregate to 29 at an average of 18.00 in 16 matches. New Zealand's Mitchell McClenaghan's has also the same tally - 29 in ten matches at an average of 16. 51. Both are the top wicket-takers in ODIs in 2013.

# Ishant's figures of 2 for 17 is his best in nine ODIs in the West Indies.

# Mahela Jayawardene, with Shikhar Dhawan's catch, is the first fielder to complete 200 catches in ODIs.

# Kumar Sangakkara has posted his eleventh duck in ODIs - his second vs India.

# Lahiru Thirimanne (29 runs at an average of 9.66 in four matches) has recorded his worst performance not involving the bilateral series.
