Stats: Watson earns unique distinction

1 - Number of times David Warner bagged the Man of the Match award in his 17-match career. His 68 in 66 balls with seven boundaries remains the highest score in the match which Australia won by 87 runs.

4 - Number of Indian batsmen who were dismissed in the 20s. They are Gautam Gambhir (23), Virat Kohli (21), Ravichandran Ashwin (26) and Irfan Pathan (22). The extras also contributed with 23.

11 - Months and 15 days have passed since Sachin Tendulkar has managed to score a hundred in international cricket. His last and the most recent three-figure innings came during India's triumphant march in 2011 World Cup: versus South Africa at Nagpur on March 12. Since then he has appeared in 11 Tests and ten ODIs and scored eight fifties including two knocks in the nineties.

20 - Number of captains to lead Australia in the ODIs so far with Shane Watson becoming the latest player to do so. His was a stop-gap arrangement in place of injured Michael Clarke. There are four other Australians who have led in only a solitary game: Bill Lawry in 1971, David Hookes in 1983, Ray Bright in 1986 and Cameron White last year.
