Sebastian Vettel extended his 6-point lead from Alonso to 13, by taking the victory in the 2012 Indian Grand Prix.
He led from the start. Webber tried to contest him on Turn 1, but it was not to be. Much later in the race, he missed a disastrous end to his fantastic run at Buddh by a spinning Maldonado, whose rear tyre had just been puncture by Kobayashi.
